Girls 8th Volleyball

Hi everyone, I’m Mariah Whitman! I am the 8th grade coach at Graham Middle School! Im entering my 7th year teaching, 4th year coaching. This will be my first season as a Falcon, and my first year as a 1st grade Intervention Specialist at Graham Elementary School! I’m a graduate of Wittenberg University, Tiger Up!! I have been playing volleyball since 3rd, specifically as an outside hitter and setter! My love and passion for this sport come from three of the best coaches I ever had; Jodi Schilling, John Finn and Shanna Hildebrant. I strive everyday to make an impact on every player that steps foot on my court, the same way that each of these coaches did for me. A piece of advice that I would give athletes is to try your best, and work hard everyday!Aside from coaching and teaching, I love hanging out with my dog and boyfriend, reading a good book, and CrossFit! I’m so excited to part of Graham Volleyball! Go Falcons!!
